ENJOY THE BEACH DURING THE DAY AND LEAVE THE BEACHES TO THE WILDLIFE AT NIGHT. 

ON THE BEACH 

• Kick over your sandcastles, filling in any moats before you leave the beach so they don’t become obstructions the turtles may encounter. 
• Fill in large holes that you dig and that others have left behind.
• Pick up everything you bring with you. Leave only footprints. 

BACK AT HOME OFF THE BEACH

• Remember to help to reduce outdoor lighting that contributes to skyglow. 
• Reduce use of plastics that remain in our environment. There is no such place as “away”. Things may break down into smaller and smaller pieces but they never disappear. 
• Repurpose things you already have and refuse to buy more.
